Care Group Information

I'm a Single Mom...What are "Care Groups?"
  • Single Mom Care Groups meet once a week for 1 - 2 hours at various locations.
  • Children are welcome and they get to participate in their own groups apart from the moms. In most cases a meal or snack is provided each week for all.
  • The Caring People host other special events for moms called "Celebration Events"  held several times a year. They are always fun, stress free times!

How can they benefit me?

 1) In Care Groups your  heart will be lifted up and you'll  gain spiritual strength to face life's challenges.

2) In Care Groups there is an opportunity to learn together and laugh together, to be accepted for yourself and to "get out of yourself."

3) In Care Groups you'll  build friendships that are strong enough to support each other through the worst and best times.

Some of our Single moms share what care groups mean to them....

Single Mom Melissa shares...."I wish that we met more than once a week because I count the days until we meet again.."

"My care group gives me the extra strength I need to make it through the week"  Single Mom, Angel

"My daughter says I am a wreck without my care group!"  Single Mom, Sally L.

"Tuesday's are the best part of my week, I look forward to my Care Group all week long." These are words from a working single mom who has found support and the connection she needs each week. She said that Tuesdays are her dates for herself.
