Branson, Mo. – The Caring People and Convoy of Hope, partnered recently in Oklahoma City to impact the lives of families with a day of caring.  The Caring People were honored to be part of this amazing event – praying for, and with families in need.  CEO Cindy Shorey shared, “Convoy of Hope does an amazing job of coming alongside the hurting, not just abroad during times of disasters and crisis relief but also during the day to day hardships those around us often face. We were thrilled to serve  alongside them in Oklahoma City.  We support their efforts.”  Karen Wiseman, the OK program representative for the Caring People was able to distribute information on the services of TCP to 3,500 individuals during the day…many of them Single Moms.  Groceries, hair cuts, photographs and other services were provided to all who attended. Super volunteers, Sheri Gerecke, Annie Goldman and staff members Cindy Shorey and Louanne Dietrich were also present to lend a hand. Thank you Convoy of Hope for this amazing opportunity! You are amazing!
