There are many different ways someone can get involved in this mission to reach Single Moms. Here are some of the key ways:
Attend a Training
Caring, committed, Christian women can attend a specially created training program just for them. The one-day training equips them with special tools and the knowledge of how to mentor Single Moms with the love of Jesus. The materials are based on the research conducted by The Caring People. Become a Host Facility for Training or Care Groups!
Your church or business can become a host facility for both the one day trainings and/ or care groups where the moms meet. To inquire about what required contact cindy@thecaringpeople.org.
Host a Harvest Party
"Harvest" parties are special get togethers where you can host your friends to share with them the mssion of The Caring People. We provide in a special box, everything you need to host a night of fellowship and fun: talking points, an informative CD about the ministry, dessert items and coffee! Build The Mission In Your City
Other opportunities to serve ...
Regional Chairs - help establish the mission in a 200 mile radius called "REGIONS"
City Chair - leads the effort in a designated City Area. Builds a team of supporters.
Admin Team - serves the city chair by supporting the mission in various ways.
Prayer Team - prays for the needs of the Single Moms in her area and the mission overall.
Care Group Leaders: leads care groups and mentors the Single Moms.
Special Event Coordinators: help to produce special events for the moms and/ or coordinate fundraising events for a specific area.
