Never Looked Back" - Cassandra, Single Mom

Cassandra came to her first Care Group in the summer of this year. She shared with us how her life has changed since being introduced to her Caring family.

"I was 30 weeks pregnant and a new Single Mom and didn't know where to turn. I had always thought that if I moved to a new town it would be so easy to meet people. Boy was I wrong. It was a very rough transition and not having any friends made it even rougher.

That is when I reached out to the Caring People. After inquiring about the ministry through e-mail, I was quickly contacted by a Care Group leader from a local church host for the Caring People. I cannot begin to tell you what a difference these ladies have made in my life. They welcomed me with open arms and I have never looked back.

I now know what it means to be loved unconditionally. Not to be discouraged but to be encouraged by the smiles, words and actions of some very amazing women. To all of you who have supported this ministry with your prayers and financial support, I cannot begin to tell you what that means. Thank you is not enough."

There are so many Single Moms just like Cassandra that are hungry for the Love of Jesus, Single Moms who are looking for acceptance and hope. Please pray that doors continue to be opened to the ministry. Thank you for loving and supporting the Moms.
