Bob Goff Is Coming To Branson For The Caring People Annual Event

BRANSON, MO | Monday, January 28, 2019 – The Caring People are thrilled to announce that Bob Goff, New York Times Best Selling Author of Love Does, will bring his engaging, life-changing, live presentation to Branson, Missouri on May 7, 2019 for The Caring People’s Love Big Celebration at Woodland Hills Family Church. Goff has inspired millions to live a secretly incredible life in an ordinary world. As Goff explains in his first book, “Love does whatever it takes to multiply itself and somehow along the way everyone becomes a part of it. You know why? Because that’s what love does.”

“Our fifth annual Honoring Our Mothers event will be a celebration of love providing inspiration to others like never before,” explained Louanne Dietrich, CEO of The Caring People, a nonprofit that has made a positive difference in the lives of thousands of single moms since its inception in 1997. “Goff’s message of love is a perfect fit for our organization. We are all about the love of Christ, the love of mothers, and the kind of love that isn’t just a thought or a feeling, but the kind of love that does.”

Bob Goff is a self-proclaimed “recovering lawyer,” who inspires others to get to the “do” part of life. When Love Does, life gets interesting. Each day turns into a hilarious, whimsical, meaningful chance to make faith simple and real. Love Does has sold more than one million copies and been translated into ten languages! As an attorney, Bob shares leadership in a Washington law firm, Goff & DeWalt. He is also a professor at Pepperdine Law School and Point Loma Nazarene University.

Dietrich said that this year’s event will be quite different from the annual Honoring Our Mothers banquets the nonprofit has hosted since 2015.

“Our plan is to host an evening with Bob Goff that is light, fun and casual, while also being unique and profound,” stated Dietrich. “We want him to share his inspiring life stories, lessons and attitude with as many people as possible, so rather than a traditional banquet, we’re having a celebration. Thanks to Mercy Hospital, our presenting sponsor this year, we have relocated to a larger, theater-style venue. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available now, with remaining tickets available to the public for purchase sometime in April.”
