Care Groups Are Making a Big Difference!

Here is a special story for you! It was forwarded to the Caring People in November.  Feel the excitement of the Care Group Leader!

We are so excited … so praising the Lord!  We had our first salvation in our Single Moms’ meeting tonight!  It is so exciting to see God work in our midst!

Our meeting was like “Old Home Week” because everyone came in so glad to be there and hugging everyone.  The talking and visiting just didn’t want to stop.  Then Connie led us in music, “Father, I Adore Thee”.  Mary led us in our study. 

We have been studying how we are in Christ, Christ is in us, and Christ is in the Father.  She had a neat activity to impress that truth to us.  The whole meeting was so charged … so full of His spirit!  Prayer time was led by Janice. It is so exciting to hear our Single Moms pray for each other.  They are growing in the spirit by leaps and bounds.

After the meeting, a Single Mom came up to Reva and told her she wanted to be lead in prayer … she wanted to be saved!  She told her she had been saved years ago but had drifted away, and now she wanted to be sure she was right with God.  Reva was overwhelmed! She grabbed another leader, and together we lead her in the prayer of salvation!  We were all moved … so thrilled!  You know this is what it is all about!

Thank you all for your prayers.  We thank you for bringing this ministry to our church.  Look how God is working!
