One Changed Life Spawns New Care Group!

Laresa, a pastor’s wife from Rockaway Beach, worked beside a Single Mom in the Branson school lunch line.  Over the course of a couple months, Laresa started to see a change in this Single Mom.  Each Friday, the Single Mom would come to work and tell what she learned from the Bible the previous night.  Laresa asked this Single Mom how she was learning all this and found out she had been attending a weekly group with the Caring People. 

Laresa saw there was a need for this ministry in her own community, so she talked to women in her church, brought them to the Caring People training on March 4th, and started a Care Group Monday, March 6th!  They had nine Single Moms attend with their twenty children! 

Laresa is so excited about what God is doing in her community.  She said they had a wonderful time Monday, and the Single Moms seemed to really enjoy it.  In fact, while one leader was driving a Single Mom home, the Single Mom started really opening up about her life and when they pulled in to her drive, she gave the leader a big hug.  The leader said, “I felt like a million bucks!”
